When you do a search procedure for a given Node/Page, the result is negative, says not found, however, the same search performed through the "Quick Search", ends successfully. Why is this happening?

Change of Search area option:
1) Check Pages of all types, otherwise search in formatted text pages only.
2) Change text analysis optnms. Uncheck setting "Match Case" and "Whole word"

Quick search is very simple tool.
1) Search on entire documents (always)
2) Search on all nodes types (always)
3) Search without option: match case and other (always)
4) Quick on nodes header and\or comments (always)

Standard seacrh takes into account all these parameters and in various combinations and consequently depend on this search results.

Quick search is quite a different instrument: it is maximally simplified, intended for instant search on a very rough match. Sometimes the user is much easier to go over 2 or 3 sample option quick search, than to understand and looking at the settings advanced search.

Problem remains the same!

Every time I enter an item (node/page) to search in the dialog box, then trying to find a second node, the internal Charset has changed and I can not re-enter western characters. The only way to normalize the situation, after the first search, is to close the application and reopen.

Needless to say, after each issue, I review the status of Charset and everything appears normal and OK

Please, can you check on the program this difficulty?

A second problem is with the search method "Standard", I tried all possible ways and the example given in yesterday, not working, can not find the existing node. It seems that to find a bar within the text, the system " is lost" (20091019 / text), because leaving only the date is found immediately.

Please, more detail! As you change the font in the tree and what menu commands, and then step by step, about the search, and at what point is changing the font, and more importantly when you notice that?

1) What is the method of searching for "Standard"? Wow! This is something new in this program, it seems the code began to mutate:)

I'm confused ... Why change the font? if the problem is in the Charset.

In my humble opinion, the problem is in the charset of the Search dialog box, and the problem is checked when entering data for a second search by typing the information into the keyboard, the characters that appear are the Cyrillic charset instead of the Occidental.

Charset not change selft.
Combo box on search dialog use default font from text editor. Please, check font setting for text editor in Tools\Options (tab "Panels\Editor").

Strange!, Very strange:
I have made further tests, I even think that was the symbol slash ("/") that to be found to change the charset, however, removes and replaces it with another ("-") and the problem stayed the same. So I removed all the symbols of the names of the nodes and left only the text (normal characters) more numbers (date: 20091122), but the problem is still there, is not solved! I get the impression that Windows is where you change the Charset. (?)

Steps performed:
1. Click on Search button
2. In the dialog box, enter the name of the node/page to find
3. Click on FIND
4. First Result: Node found OK
5. Remove dialog box, name of previous node
6. enter name of the new node/page to find (here, by entering the charset has been changed and all typed characters are displayed in Cyrillic.)
7. To normalize the charset, I close the application and start over again.

2) I make small fix on 9.15 Alpha. If You want, i can send exe-file by email. It's not even a beta version for testing, this Alpha-version, exclusively for private use. But you can try to run it without even opening your documents, create a blank document and try to find a corrected. Then you can remove the Alpha-version!!

Virtually no difference - except in cases when the Microsoft openly impose their policies on the use of the registry (for example, lists of most recently used documents). In all other cases in 99 out of 100 Aml Pages will automatically determine exactly where to save the settings.

Aml Pages itself has its own configuration file in its folder, next to the executable file AmlPages.exe. Everything else is already the superstructure of Windows, and depends only on itself.
That's why I recommended to change the storage settings on the registry Windows - it is the recommendation of most Microsoft. And support for the ini-files made for portable-version, and its use on the hard disk only slow down the program.

The last update to version 9.14 build 2075 [2009-Dec-03], no solves none of the reported problem on "Search", the problem remains as before.

First search works perfect, then to make the second, I can not specify the name of the node / page for entering characters in the input window, the characters typed are in Cyrillic.
